Nov. 17: Scott & Georgia Ball Serve Us Strawberry Shortcake and More!

Posted by John Lustig in meetings

So you think you know Scott and Georgia Ball?

Sure. You probably know Georgia is CNW’s president. And perhaps you know that she and Scott have been busy creating comics for Ape Entertainment.

But did you know…

—Georgia is Ape’s primary writer on its Strawberry Shortcake comic books and that it’s been a huge hit? (The app collecting the first comic book series has sold roughly forty gazillion copies.)

—Scott got his start with Ape on the graphic novel Scouts: Drafted and is now illustrating Strawberry Shortcake and Sesame Street comics?

—Georgia is also working on cool new Ape Entertainment comics for kids such as Kung Fu Panda, Squids, and Croods?

—there’s a lot more than comic book work in their resume? (Animation. Web comics. Character Design. And Product Design.)

—If you show up at our Nov. 17 meeting you can ask them how the heck they’ve done all this—plus become parents; move back to Seattle; get a full-time job (Georgia) at Disney—and generally re-invent time and space so that they can accomplish so much in an insanely busy two years?

Also on the Agenda: CNW Presidential Election

Simpler, easier and faster than that other presidential election, it’s the CNW presidential election. Who rules CNW in 2013? You decide!
